ColonelGentleman
My story: I'm almost 30 and I'm pretty overweight. I'm about 6'1" and around 275 lbs. I've tried dieting and working out on and off since college, had a little success but always fell back into old habits. It's at the point where I know I need to change. I have a baby daughter on the way and I want to be around for her and my wife as long as I can. So I've got to make some changes. Even though I've been an adult for a while now and responsible for my own actions, I always rationalize that cookie or handful of chips by saying that it's just one cheat, so it's no big deal. But that attitude has added up to a lifetime of bad decisions, so I'm here to change that. I like lifting weights and working out - I feel good after doing it - i just need to adjust what I'm putting into my body. I'm looking forward to reading more posts on this forum and learning more about fitness. Quote Link to comment

Optimus Prime
Where about in NH? I'm from the Manchester area myself. Quote Link to comment
ColonelGentleman
I live in Atkinson, down by the Mass border. Do you know the area? Quote Link to comment
Optimus Prime
Not too familiar with Atkinson. I just looked on Google to see whereabout in NH it is, and it is near places I know (Salem and Plaistow), but I don't think I've ever actually been to Atkinson. I've obviously heard the name before.
