RedheadInTheNorth
Hi there. I'm 5'5" and 125lbs, I've always been on the thinner side but haven't always been "in shape"... In fact I looked flabbier at my lower weights simply because I just wasn't eating, and had no muscle tone. I've slowly learned to overcome that mostly, and eat properly and work out and be happy and healthy. It's a struggle but it's worth it and it makes a big difference. I've learned a lot about nutrition and fitness over the last few years. I belong to the local women's gym (simply because it's cheaper than the co-ed gym in my area) and I enjoy running, martial arts classes, yoga, and things like the 30 Day Shred at home. In the summer I walk, swim, hike. I'm not a good swimmer but I try. In the winter I hide indoors because this is Canada. I've gone dog sledding though, which is quite a workout because you spend half the time trudging/running through snow. I guess you could call me a gamer. I like sci-fi and fantasy. I was a goth back in the olden days of the 90s. I'm drawn to nature. I have tattoos. I'm a doula, which means I help mothers during childbirth, either in hospitals or in their own homes. I paint. I play guitar and drums but not so much these days. I did play in a handful of punk and metal bands in high school though. I have a wonderful husband and two tiny human beings we created. I'm trying to teach them how to be active and eat healthy now too. I studied graphic arts/design as well as herbalism. I chose Druid because it just suited me best even though there are aspects of other classes that I enjoy as well. I still have to figure out how the challenges and role playing game part works here. Anyway, nice to meet you all. Quote Instagram Link to comment
