Almost had my first match last night..

So yesterday i went to a wrestling event with some friends who are wrestlers. i was practicing with them in the ring trying to get some of the stuff down and just practicing. I dont start training for a month still but wanted to get some work in. So the guys are teaching me some stuff and the guy running the event comes over and says "hey do you have any gear?" Of course I don't but he starts asking around for anyone who has some i could borrow.

He said i was doing so well and he has some wrestlers there that didn't have a match so he was going to have me go in as if i were going to wrestle with an opponent. we would "lock up" and then a third guy would come in and beat us both up and choke slam me.

sadly i had no gear and couldn't do it but man, what a compliment. i did well enough in practice for half an hour that he wanted to use me on his locally televised show.

it's going to be hard for me to fit my head through the door *head swells*

hahah i don't know if that will be happening anytime soon. i was just told by my trainer that until training is done he doesn't allow anyone to be part of an event. He probably would have beat me up if i had done it. yikes.
