My mom bought me a gym membership

Romanian dl is very similar to the straight leg dl (except the legs are bent a bit...). Both target the hamstrings and glutes, as well as the lower back. I've done them in the past but never worked them into my regular workout. Dead Lifts done properly will activate the hams and glutes also, but really develop the back overall. I wouldn't recommend the Romanian or straight legged until you've got a solid base of experience and work directly with someone knowledgeable.
