Caked in dust and grime. 31 years of hard time out in endless sand fields will change a man. Reeking of the mind melting fire juice. Soft of body and mind.

To make it out here another season is going to take considerable work. There must be others seeking to make the long run. Strong enough of build to lift the last remnants of our black fuel in search for a new city of steel and pipe. Pure enough of mind to find proper nourishment, where once there was none.

I must dare to harden my mind and body if any future is to be found out here on these blasted roads.
