There's less of me than I can remember there being since high school!

Recommended Posts

I weighed in this morning at 219 pounds.

I know for a fact that when I graduated college I was around 242, when I finished working a short gig at a warehouse doing 70hrs/wk of manual labor, I was down at 223, and when I drove a desk 40hrs/wk for a couple years after that, I was up to 251 and that's when I decided to make a change.

A couple weeks ago, I weighed in at 222.5 and was officially lighter than the weight I was when I left the warehouse.

The thing is...I don't think I weighed myself once between my sophomore year of high school when I was ~5'8"/185lbs and that year I graduated college at 5'11"/242lbs.

So I'm now the lightest I've ever been in my adult life. I'm down 32lbs since starting, which is 42.11% of my goal. Next goal is 213lbs, which will be 38lbs down- 50% of my goal. Breaking down into the 21X area feels really great. I just wanted to come vent my excitement!

BONUS GRAPH AND CHART!

The column on the left is:

Starting weight: 251

Goal weight: 175

Pounds to lose: 76

Current weight: 219

Pounds lost: 32

Percent of goal: 42.11%

Pace is pounds per week lost as a rolling average calculated daily since Feb 8.

Days is number of days until I hit my goal, based on the pace.

And then the date below is the projected weigh-in at 175, based on the pace.

The graph is just maintained in excel based on daily weigh-ins. I started tracking at 246, 5lbs down from my highest weight.
