Harlow
Set a new PB for the 10km a few weeks ago, posting now because I wanted someone to share it with. I finished my 10km in 54 minutes!! Music and route were working in my favour that day, weather was not, but I still killed it. For my 5 km PB I just crossed the finish line 2 days ago in 29:02... most important, I sprinted to the finish line the last 200 meters and beat my amazing and supportive, yet not as fast as me when I get into sprint mode partner in crime. Crossing that line was the best feeling in the world. I have not run this fast and had this much pleasure in running in years. I have not been this close to my glory years speed (I played competitive soccer my teen years) since then. But the most important part to me is that I did it. I signed up for a race and didn't chicken out last minute, make an excuse or freeze when the moment came. I did it, and I feel strong and beautiful and unstoppable. I can't wait for more finish lines in my future. 1 Quote The struggles of today build strength for tomorrow. -unknown Link to comment
