The technology is so cool, love it!OK, I got called out... gotta respond. I've actually been watching this for a while now. The last I saw on it, the roadway was producing power, but not a viable amount, and maintenance was a pain. The problem with the roadway idea, is it's very inefficient due to things like lack of tracking, dirt and grime... etc. Also a simple rooftop system that's in the same area produces twice the output of the roadway. This is a better setup I think... http://www.thebikelane.com.au/2015/04/a-bike-lane-covered-by-solar-panels/ That allows for tracking the sun, or at a minimum a fixed angle towards the sun, as well as minimal maintenance costs.
