I failed! And that's totally fine. I quit working out, quit cooking, quit pretty much everything except for video games and going out to eat every day.

No more, I say!

My life is completely different now. I've moved to a new city (Boulder, CO) and I find myself in a living situation where I'm being forced to learn how to cook and fend for myself. Boulder is an opportunity for me to reinvent myself; it's a chance for me to get a clean start and rid myself of my bad habits, bit by bit.

My current goal is simple. For the next 6 weeks, I will do the beginner body weight workout, 3 times a week. This workout is mildly challenging for me, but the main reason I'm doing it is to prove to myself that I can make one good habit and stick with it. If I can perform this work out (or substitute for something like swimming or hiking) consistently for 6 weeks, then I will allow myself to take the next step in fitness.

As a wise man once said - JUST. DO IT!

The first time is always the hardest.

You win at life today! That's a great, realistic goal, you are setting yourself up for success and taking control of your life.  You will dominate this goal, then go win at life some more.
