Hello!

So for the last seven months they've been trying to work out what on earth could be wrong with me. Cervical cancer was mentioned. Endometritis was another fright. They suspected I might be less fertile, or find it harder to conceive a child in the future. "It could be an unclassified condition of the womb". It could be anything, basically. Though the symptoms were essentially the opposite I've been told by specialist after specialist that nowhere in the book or their experience have they come across what is occurring to me particularly, and they don't know what it could be. I was distraught. What if I'd never have children? What if it was serious? What if this would effect my well being?

Well after almost a year I got my results today; All clear.

No cancer. I'm fully fertile. Nothing serious. They've found a way to sort it out and there's nothing to worry about.

I. am. so. relieved.

This morning before going in for my results I was almost physically sick with stress. Now I'm ecstatic. Might not be the right place for this thread but I had to express my gratitude somewhere. I'm so thankful to be okay. I can't wait to tell my family (of which there is a hu-uge history of cancer) that I'm absolutely fine. I told my elder brother who has been a huge source of reassurance this past seven or eight months He was overwhelmingly relieved. Turned out he'd actually been worried sick, especially after serious illnesses had become suspect. I can't wait to tell my significant other that I'm fertile and there's nothing to worry about for our future. I'm so happy that I'm not ill. That my life won't be affected. That these long-lasting but worry-free symptoms will be cleared up soon. Anyways, thanks for reading, guys.

That's fantastic and amazing! You may find that some of your symptoms clear up simply from knowing that they're not as serious as you feared.

You're right! That's what the specialist told me today! They should be completely gone in 3-4 weeks. Its absolutely nothing serious. I cried, I was so happy. I feared I'd never have children. So much relief! Thank you for the response. :)
