Absidey
OMIGOSH YOU GUYS I am having a very big week. Sunday I weighed in at 50 lbs lost! Also Sunday I went on a 6+ mile hike, and I didn't have to ask for a break or slow down or sit down a single time! (Well, I sat to eat my lunch at the turn around point. But not because I needed to sit or I might pass out.) Today I put on a pair of size 6 jeans! Zipped and buttoned! I can't say they fit, but I had doubts I'd ever even cram into a size 6 again. I have never been very good with running. I get shin splints, and I'm slow. My best 5K time was 57 minutes and I'd never done a mile in less than 15 minutes. Tonight, I did a mile in 13 minutes, 33 seconds in run/walk intervals, with a top speed of 7.5 mph! I seriously feel like a superhero right now! 5 Quote AbsideyLEVEL12STR11 DEX13 STA20CON29 WIS17 CHA11Fear is the mind-killer. Guzzi
Holy pants Batman! Sorry, it was the "I feel like a superhero" comment, just couldn't help myself. That's an amazing amount to lose, how log did it take you?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote Make Life Rue The Day Turning back the clock Recipe book 14 Life is far too short to take seriously Link to comment
Raincloak
verra nize. Great job! Buy those pants (if they're cheap) and hang them up to remind yourself of your victory. Or, um, you could put up a photo of yourself on the hike, which would get fewer stares from visitors. 1 Quote Every saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Hylian Assassin 5'5", 143 lbs. (Pants = panties in the UK) Coz that WOULD get a few stares.... Or, um, you could put up a photo of yourself on the hike, which would get fewer stares from visitors. ....I don't know why I'm embarrassed, but I am. They're actually my pants. I have an entire wardrobe in 6-8ish - from pajamas to black tie. I packed everything into a plastic bin 7 years ago and kind of forgot about it. I didn't realize how small they were until I'd lost 30lbs and pulled them out to see if anything fit. Are we talking about trousers, or pants? (Pants = panties in the UK) Coz that WOULD get a few stares.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk which is a pile of shiteI could combine both ideas... As a sort of celebration and reclamation of my pride in my self I took a picture in my pants (in the UK sense) on top of a mountain I climbed about a month ago. It's from the back, but I'm not sure if I could post it here. 1 Quote AbsideyLEVEL12STR11 DEX13 STA20CON29 WIS17 CHA11Fear is the mind-killer.
