Greetings and salutations!

Ohaitherr!

 

You can call me Dani. I joined the Rebel Alliance a week ago and I've made enough headway since then to be able to say I'm ready for action! 

 

I'm a big geek in too many ways to count (who isn't?), but some of those may or may not include min-maxing and stat rolls... so, suffice it to say I get a pretty big kick out of the way this Nerd Fitness thing is laid out. :) I've been trying to lose weight and get fit for years and have had on and off success - the "off" parts usually timing with life changes and the resulting routine disruptions and depression that follow, but the "on" parts have me running races and hiking up mountains. I know I can do big things, the problem I have is not crashing when the fit hits the shan. 

 

We crashin' again?

 

Nope. We're just too damn pretty. So, up 'n at 'em! I just got married (yaaaaaay more big life changes!) but my husband and I have been using this time as a focal point for organizing our home systems and "starting over". We've combed through the house and purged most of our old clutter, and the stress of planning and hosting and travelling is gone so I'm starting to get regular exercise again. A large challenge is that I need to lose weight and he needs to gain it so I've been struggling with menu planning but we are finally making headway on that, too. 

 

So, I gots mah goals, I gots mah why, I gots mah how... But a sword holds no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage, right? It's time to step up: one foot forward.

I/ We Can identify with some of your household's challenges, including clutter, regrouping and divergent fitness/weight goals and directions. My partner needs to gain weight, primarily muscle, but he also wants to increase his body fat ratio a bit. Whereas I desperately need to lose weight. We both want to tone things up. Not sure what else to say, just wanted you to know we are here too.

Cole O'Kell is a Rebel Adventurer, and aspiring to join the Druid Guild. A Badger bound Druid Monk Satyr by nature, feels shi has been galavanting unawares far too long, and wishes to return to her roots as a Monastic Kodama. Due to health concerns and other interests and priorities Cole desires to train alongside whichever Guild best supports any given prioritized goals. Training Passions include ones suggested to Druids, Monks,Scouts, and Assassins.
