Rutrow
Broke my leg a bit before high school graduation, and had to be wheeled across the stage. Snapped both bones in the lower leg, tib/fib, and was NWB (non-weight bearing) for over three months. After a hard two months of working on my leg, I can finally be a little bit happy with my situation. I can finally go from flat foot to toe stand on my bad leg without pain (on warm days), and I've went from 10 lb to 25 lb leg curls on the bad leg (hamstring hurts like hell, thanks atrophy). My calf muscle is building up again, when I originally couldn't see any muscle when flexing. And most importantly, which brings me the most joy, I can finally run.Not too fast and not too far, but I can do it and I'm ecstatic. Crushing my original goal by two months. 3 Quote Recovering from snapped tibia/fibula.05/22/15. Link to comment
IndraTzal
Slow and steady. Slow and steady. Don't jump in too hard. (Made that mistake myself and paid for it.) Glad your making progress. Feels so good after being down for so long. Quote Level 4 Demon/Assassin We Can't All Be The Hero. STR:6 DEX:7 STA:8 CON:5 WIS:8 CHA:2 "No power in the 'verse can stop me." River Link to comment
