abraspamlincoln
So I go to the gym on my lunch-break at work, and instead of just cycling for 20-25 minutes and then doing a few weighted excercises I'm thinking of alternating between Rebel Fitness Rookie and cycling every other day, would there be any real disadvantages? abraspamlincoln
Yea, I switched and it was way way more of a workout than just moving my legs up and down until the timer beeps... does anybody see any reason why I should alternate strength and cardio day by day? Pat G
does anybody see any reason why I should alternate strength and cardio day by day? You're cycling, so low impact yes? In my unprofessional opinion, i can't see any significant disadvantages for your goals for 2012. Alternating workouts is especially at the beginning is an awesome way of building a good foundation of strentgh and endurance. As you know, the muscle workouts keep the energy burning after you finish, and build muscle... which in turn burns more energy. sgoodkeep it up Quote "Strength is the cup.
