I jogged and ate food I COOKED

Okay, I jogged for a full minute BUT it's a full minute I couldn't jog...ever before.  Bad lungs and dancers ankles and knees don't make for good jogging/running tools.

 

 

Also I cooked a meal last night and didn't have any acid reflux. and actually cooked something.   WHAT?!  That's unheard of.  Everything gives me reflux...everything.

 

Peppers

Chicken

Lemon Juice

Artichoke hearts

Salt + Pepper

EVOO

 

And a hot pan and help me it was delicious. 

 

Also drove 8 hours to come home for Christmas and didn't eat or drink anything but water and my leftovers from last night AND THEN didn't eat any Cajun food, apple pie, or bits from my gingerbread house.

No cajun food?!?  Hon, we got to teach you to clean okra or something because there aint nothing wrong with a little gumbo when you make it right.

 

HAHA!  Oh, you are so right.  I could probably do a good ole red beans and cauli-rice with some sausage for one of my cheat day. Yum yum.

 

And I've never cleaned okra before. (WHAT?! I know)

There's nothing to cleaning okra.  Wash it and snip the tips off with a knife.  After that it's just chopping however you like.  It will, however, leave a residue of slime on your knife, your cutting board, and most likely you.
