While on the topic of mead, homebrews, etc; I've always wanted to try a hard cider after watching this old SYSTM video awhile back ( http://revision3.com/systm/distillation ). Has anyone ever tried any kinds of hard cider? I'd be interested in the higher proof alcohol it produces just as much as taking it all the way to lower proof cider.

I brew my own hard cider and I love it. Super simple and taste is incredible. I do two different kinds of cider...one is more like a wine (apfelwein) and three other is more like a beer (think woodchuck with some hoppiness) pm me for a recipe

Supposedly my grandfather did that once. He was distrustful of doctors but had a bad tooth, so when it started hurting bad enough he grabbed some pliers and yanked that sucker out. I never actually asked him about that...now I wish I had.

My mom had a root canal without any anesthesia. There was only one dentist in the region that used it, and he was too far away. When he was done, the dentist showed my mom the decayed nerve he pulled out. She said it looked like a little worm.

Our youngest son had a finger mostly chopped off with a log splitter. Couple tendons and blood vessels left. He had it pinned and sewn back together under a local aesthetic because he had to drive himself home (ok, because he's stubborn/stupid at times). The nurses said they had never seen anything like it. They figured he would last a minute before asking for the general anaesthetic.

Warriors don't count reps and sets. They count tons.

Okay so tomorrow is the day. I'm having laporacopy, and the surgeon thinks I should be back exercising within a couple of weeks.

Anyway, I'm glad to get this over with. Good times -- bring it!

This is not uninteresting. Not sure how I feel about the rat/human mating comparison since we have 100% different mating styles as a species, but the idea of taking time off porn to reboot yourself is appealing. Not sure i want to do it right NOW .... but maybe I'll be able to talk to wife into it sometimes down the road.

As regards hot teachers ... I only had two. Biology (super hot) and algebra (who was not only hot but was kind enough to wear revealing clothing till my gay best friend asked her to stop ... I still owe him a beating for that).

Organic Chemistry Prof. Crazy part is I am not a normal aged student and she is my age, 27 at the time. She had 2 PhDs at the time, so yeah she was not dumb either. She knew exactly what she was doing when she would wear sun dresses to class.

I had one that was confusingly hot, in that she would wear tight, tiny t-shirts ALL THE TIME... and then a big loose open cardigan or unbuttoned blouse or jacket or something. She was very curvaceous, so the shirt was borderline indecent and if you looked she would glare and sort of slam the sweater/cardigan/blouse/jacket shut. But she never did it up, so it was always open again a few seconds later. I never fully understood what that was about.

The cancer was aggressive, but the chemotherapy was aggressive, as well.

There was aggression on both sides.

So I read the first two pages, skipped ahead, and we're back to hot teachers. Awesome.

I'm in college and I have a few right now. The weird thing about college is...if something went done, it's not a big deal because we're adults. But a few years ago, it's a scandal. Funny how society works.
