10 proper push ups

Recommended Posts

Hi Rebels,

Although I've been following NF for a little over 2 years now and only recently started taking my workout seriously. I have had previous attempts at doing the beginners body circuit and was able to get through one round but I always felt I lacked upper body strength. Hence, whenever I'd do a 2-3 push-ups I would be very sore. Recently, I re-read steve's article on warming up and started to go through it. Then I arrived at the gym, fearing the push-ups. I thought I would do 5, but when I started doing them I was surprised that I could do 5 and had strength for more, so I went ahead and did all 10. My first 10 real push-ups!!! sure I was a little sore the day after but it was completely worth it. I had a kick the whole day.

Can someone link me to somewhere that shows the correct way to do a push up. seems so many versions and varieties all saying the correct way.   Currently i prefer doing them on my fists as it dosn't hurt my wrists as much.

I struggle through 10 currently. Starting to feel more comfortable doing those ten however. So well done to the OP
