Maggie May
After every time I row on the ERG, I get a cough (especially an all-out sprint workout). Usually lasts for a day or two, and I know it's a relatively common thing after rowing. Anyone have remedies for this?? It doesn't hurt, it's just annoying! Thanks!! Quote Link to comment
Corbab
More erging. You're sucking in a lot of air during an erg workout, and it irritates your throat. Eventually, you'll get used to it if you row enough. I row regularly, and that doesn't bother me much anymore. Short of that, I'm not really sure. aj_rock
Also helps if the air is humid.Be careful. I've known people to get lung infections when you combine exhausting cardio workouts with dry air. The fact that you're irritating your lungs AND likely compromising your immune system creates a bad environment in there.
