JKey Posted February 26, 2012 Report Share Posted February 26, 2012 Hello all! I've been a fan of NF for over a year, but I fell away for a while from all things healthy and strong. Between finishing my Masters, getting a *real* job, and moving myself and my husband to another state, my body and health got put on hold. In the last year I've gained back everything I lost and then some. BUT! That and my butt shall not stop me from getting back to it! And this time I'm going to do it with a vengeance. I've:1.) Created a visual goal of the weight I want to lose (and left it in the kitchen to mock me when I even THINK of eating something non-Paleo/Primal2.) Started to switch my husband and I back to a paleo/primal eating3.) Gathered some new friends around me who are, in various ways, all working towards losing weight and getting stronger4.) Gotten myself onto this forum to learn all that I can and ask every question I have5.) And finally worked out a strategy with my husband so that we are always encouraging each otherMy goal:1.) Lose 57 pounds2.) Join Crossfit (eventually)3.) Get more active in everyday life4.) Ultimately, feel better about myself for me Thanks for reading! Quote Link to comment
