gerbilOFdoom
Alright, so I was breaking ice at the foot of my driveway when my left arm gave off a popping sound, didn't hurt at the time... but I'm doing my deadlifts and my left arm is now giving me a rather sharp, but minor pain. Is this something I should worry about beyond letting my left arm rest for the next several days? Quote Link to comment
m00se
Probably not. But:Where is the pain in your arm? What makes it worse? Is there any bruising? Is it tender anywhere? Is there anything you physically can't do with it (i.e. is it just painful, or is it impossible to move beyond certain points)? Quote Link to comment
gerbilOFdoom
The pain is in my shoulder, in the area starting from the base of my neck to about 3 inches out. I can move my arm just fine, but if I look to the right and pull my shoulder back I get the pain in the area I described. No bruising that I can see, no tenderness... but comparing my shoulders, the left does seem a bit more tense than the right at the area I get the pain. Quote Link to comment
m00se
Maybe just tweaked your ACJ a bit, or pulled some trapezius fibres. Rest it up and give it a few days. Deadlifting will make it hurt, though, if it's either of those things. Quote Link to comment
