While wearing a Fart Party tshirt, because, well... nerd.As soon as I walked into the gym I said to myself "Ask right now, before you get distracted." So I asked the dude if he could orient me to the barbells. I was trying to do a Pendlay Row to complete the quest on Fitocracy, but I was nervous and whatever and he showed me how to do a barbell row so that's what I did.Anyway, long story short- that's the first time I've the big weights! Before today, weights = machines or 10 pound dumbells.I'm really pumped because I've been wanting to learn the heavy duty weights, but had a hard time getting past the "that's the big sweaty dude area" thing... I think this is going to be the start of something beautiful- ha!
