Tired Victorian
Age: 39Height: 5'0"Weight: 120Last went to the gym: in AugustGeneral condition: fatigued out of my mindI've never had weight problems (due to completely random genetic luck) but I've never had any energy either. Ever. Instead I have lots of fatigue and brain fog and depression.Plus, I am a natural clutz with lots of bad childhood memories associated with physical activity.I've had some luck, in the last decade, of getting into regular, gentle exercise routines. But then I have a bad knee that always acts up, and knocks me out of my routine. I love pilates and strength training, but I have real trouble motivating myself to do either by myself, in my house. And I can't accommodate the class times that are available to me (in a rather small town). Swimming terrifies me, but maybe I can get over that? I worry that my exercise routines have in the past always been TOO gentle to really impact my general fatigue. Goals for the present: * Work up to six servings of veggies a day, with the goal being 9 servings a day (a la Terry Wahls' guidelines).* Educate myself about nutrition in general, especially as it relates to mental health, auto-immune functions and fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. * Go to the gym at least three times a week. That last one is a real struggle for me. If I post about it, will I finally do it? I hope so. Quote Link to comment
Tired Victorian
Oh yeah -- I've also decided to go gluten-free and sugar-free for the month. I'm not a big sugar fiend, but boy am I missing my cereal and bread. Quote Link to comment
