ebm1224 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 towards the end of this month my boyfriend and i are flying to texas (houston hobby airport) to visit his family (meeting them for the first time - eek!). i'm sure we'll be pretty occupied with visiting and such but i thought it might be nice to have a couple of things in mind to do in case we have some down time or they want to take us somewhere. since we're flying in, i'm not sure if we'll have access to a car (might be able to borrow his brother's for a bit)...and i don't know if houston has public transit.any suggestions of things to do in that area? i've never been to texas before ever so i'd love to experience at least some of the history/culture/touristy stuff/etc.thanks!(ps: if anyone lives in that area let me know - potential meetup?)
