Trixie Falsae
I went camping over the weekend with my family and parents. My dad recently started rock climbing classes and brought his gear out so the kids could try. My oldest was the only one able to make it all the way up. (Of course the two month old didn't even try.) Anyway I also got a chance to have a go, even though I haven't climbed since I was a kid. I made it to the top! It was awesome and exhilarating and a tiny bit scary and I want to do it again! 4 Quote Mama Gnome, Healer and Crafter Keeper of the Five Hobbits All Around Awesome Link to comment
Guzzi
Well done! Is that you hooked now? Rock climbing is awesome fun and a great workout at the same time, were you sore the next day? Trixie Falsae
I wasn't sore so much as wobbly. I did so much walking and moving the rest of the day that I stretched all the soreness out. Fortunately I don't get sore easily. I am most certainly hooked. I grew up climbing (I should say bouldering, I never had equipment. My parents just let us climb up and crawl through whatever we found) and it brings back such good memories as well as being something I genuinely love. Now that some of my kids like it too, it might become a more frequent activity. 1 Quote Mama Gnome, Healer and Crafter Keeper of the Five Hobbits All Around Awesome Link to comment
