AuroraNorth
I was washing my hands at work Thursday and wearing a short-sleeved top for the first time in months. I looked up into the mirror and realized that I was seeing muscles move as I scrubbed. My arms have always been very thin, though my triceps were quite loose. Now, I'm seeing muscle definition! I've got biceps, my shoulders are developing and my triceps are tightening up. Vain, I know, but it makes me feel good. Quote Link to comment

ecosgrove
Congrats! I'm just starting to workout again and I've always had skinny arms, no matter what. During the summers when I was leading trips, canoeing for miles, and lifting heavy packs there still is no change in the size of my arms. They do get stronger but I'd like to be able to tell that they are stronger. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
AuroraNorth
My best suggestions are the old standards- pushups, body weight rows and plank. Especially plank. I hate it, but it works. Quote Link to comment
