Doing research on exercises in the ancient world and came across something interesting. Socrates before becoming the philosopher we have all come to know and love was a hoplite in the Peloponnesian War and fought along side Alcibiades, who later became one of the greatest general of the era. Great philosopher, potent ass kicker. Just thought I would share
