EllenRipley
Hi, everyone! I am so excited to get started on this fitness journey! I'm a working wife and mother to 2 little guys. I work at a bank, so to say I'm a bit sedentary is an understatement. No more! I've been eating a mostly clean diet since I gave birth in February, and for the past two weeks I've consistently walked (and a little running) 3-5 miles on most days. I'm looking to lose the last of my baby weight plus a bit more, so about 30 pounds in all. Certainly I'm hoping to look better naked, but I also want to be stronger! I'm willing to give almost any workout a try, and I love getting outside and moving. I'm so happy to have found this community! 5 Quote Link to comment
aishah hope
Hey and welcome! I am so glad you are here. Congrats on the positive improvements with the diet and walking! I can totally relate to the sedentary work struggle, but walking has helped tons, I'm so glad it's helping you also. FoxerNova
Hello and welcomem to the forums! Since diet is almost 80% of weight-loss, just eating well and walking can do wonders for your health, So you'll probably do really well if you keep at it for a while. Also, congrats on the kids! Small children are so god damn cute, but there is also a lot of work and I am impressed that you are able to find time for yourself and work out (Not that I have any kids of my own and probably never will, but I have two seven months old nephews). Best of luck to you! Quote Link to comment
