What do you eat before working out?

I've gone both ways over the years, but I know that fasting I had workouts where I would be weak as a kitten. Although looking back, I wasn't eating very good back then, so that could explain it.

The path to Swolehalla is paved with a lot of Swolehate, and you won't get there without being Swole of Spirit too.

Morning weights: just a preworkout filth shake. Sometimes a bit of PB on toast. My weights stuff is short (45-60 min) and low-cardio.

Morning cycling: fasted; eat later. Exception for anything long, like a morning race, when I'd wake up early to nom as below.

Later in the day: Something a bit carby (like a banana, bit of flapjack for riding, or (ahem) nom pepperami nom for mental meat) 1-2h before. I don't train well with food in my belly.
