If you had a personal trainer...

The thing I appreciate most from my PT is walking the fine line between pushing and restraining me. I'm coming back to weights for the first time in ~10 years and having someone saying "I don't believe that's everything you have, 3 more reps" and then on the next set "Ok, your form is slipping put the bar down" is incredibly valuable and keeps me pushing harder without injuring myself.

I would want them to push me but know my limits. I agree with geme, i would want them to see me as more than money.
