Hi everybody! I'm a guy in my 40's, 50 lbs overweight, very lazy, sedentary, drink too much beer, and could definitely eat much healthier. I feel that I am close to a tipping point where I can either can continue down this path to ever increasing health problems or right this ship and enjoy life again.

I have looked at various diets, lifestyle changes, and fitness programs before, but I never fully committed and things would go back to the way they were. 

So I was looking at possibly trying to go Paleo when I saw Nerd Fitness. One of the terms I liked was paleo-ish. Semper Gumby! The last thing I wanted was the Paleo Police to come after me! Another thing I saw was some of the stories where they achieved success through small incremental changes.

As for starting class I am thinking warrior.
