Suominatua
OK, so for those of you whom don't know the backstory, Hans island is this little island evenly between Denmark and Canada. They decided on all the other little islands, but this one they have been 'fighting' over. The regularly place a flag on it, then the other country takes down the other's flag, and puts up their own. (some say that they leave beer for each-other on the island as well)It's been humorous, but overall, both nations actually sort of do want it, because it deals with the water in that territory. Realistically, they don't care about THIS island in particular, but just want to present a 'strong front' in the general region. So, recently, they've been discussing splitting it. Right down the middle. Half to Canada. Half to Denmark. However, I think this is a better suggestion:Also, just imagine. A sports game, with national land and pride at stake! what better promotion for fitness! Quote Link to comment

aj_rock
http://satwcomic.com/epic-battleI lulled.A sports match really wouldn't be fair for Denmark though. We choose hockey, Denmark cries. aj_rock
Silly Atalan. Parkour isn't a sport yet at least, it's not in the olympics, or really tested in any standardized way.Drinking sports games Canada would win at though. And seeing as how Canada has an American Football League, second only to the NFL, I guess we'd win that too.Sorry Denmark, guess Hans Island is ours Quote Why must I put a name on the foods I choose to eat and how I choose to eat them?
