Jcannon98188
Small little woot for myself here. I went for my first run in a couple of years.Used to do cross country, but had piss poor form and screwed up my legs royally because of it. Recently however, being inspired by you lot, I decided to learn how to correct my form, and I have been running in place, in slow motion, making sure my form was good. I probably looked stupid if anyone looked through my window. But today, I decided to go for one! It was rainy, and really cold, but I was like screw it, I am running. I probably made it but a quarter of a mile before I was out of breath, but I am proud to report that my form improvement has payed off, and I feel absolutely no pain after running Link to comment
Yoshi
Woot! Great job deciding to just go for it. I have a quote that I like regarding your short distance: "...you're still lapping everybody on the couch." Keep it up. [i wish i liked running.] [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Skinny girls look good in clothes. Corbab
Woot! I used to hate running too, and while it's still far from my favorite activity, I've come to enjoy it a lot more since I got my form dialed in. I saw this article a while back, and it sounds a bit like what you're doing. Never think of pain or danger or enemies a moment longer than is necessary to fight them. -Ayn Rand Amongst those less skilled you can see all this energy escaping through contorted faces, gritted teeth and tight shoulders that consume huge amounts of effort but contribute nothing to achieving the task. Morrigainz
That's awesome! I put running on hold in favor of strength training, but I might go for one tomorrow I'm sure that if you keep at it, you will see huge improvements! W00t! Level ?
