geng shi
When I turned 48 (345 days ago), I set a goal to move 1000 miles under my own power before I turned 49. I started out OK from August - November, but a combination of weather, daylight savings time, and a bout of frustration (probably depression) shut me down for four months. On April 1, I picked it back up, needing 767 miles in about 6 months. Tonight, 20 days short of my 49th birthday, I hit (and passed) my 1000 miles. Walked - 116.62 Biked - 848.77 Kayaked(!) - 2 Not sure what number I'm going to set between 49 and 50, but I've committed to moving at least a mile every day until I'm 50, so none of this four months off nonsense. Lots to ponder, but tonight, I'm celebrating the victory. 3 Quote Link to comment
Tanktimus the Encourager
Congrats, that is awesome. May I be the first to post this, it was the first thing I thought of when I saw your title: (I know you biked most of it, but still) 1 Quote Current Challenge "By the Most-Righteous-and-Blessed Beard of Sir Tanktimus the Encourager!" - Jarl Rurik Harrgath Link to comment
