An important lesson learnt

4 spoonfuls of coffee will make you jittery no matter the amount of milk and butter you add in 2dl cup.

Did not know whether to put it here or in Tavern section.

I therefore suggest that we open a new "Stupid" category. :)

Haha bet that was interesting! Just one of those things everyone reacts differently to.

1 rounded teaspoon of instant coffee (1.8 grams in weight) contains approx 57 mg of caffeine....so you had about 228mg.

I take that amount in powdered form every morning (100g bag costs less than £4!).

Coffee doesn't seem to affect my mum whatsoever. She pretty much always has a cup of coffee on the go at home and falls asleep on the sofa even after necking it all evening. Then I'll say "mum go to bed" because she's doing that falling asleep head rolling around thing, to which she'll reply "yep I'll just have a cup of coffee and go to bed" :ambivalence:

This tends to be my reaction if I have anything stronger than a latte!
