RandomWanderer
I've come to love the Mud Run.... its a 6 mile run but in mud with military obstacle courses! it's like a childhood dream come true LOL. So how about we pay homage to the mud run with our stories and which ones we've all done, and for what great cause(they usually have some sort of charity slant)I will be doing the Muck Rukus for MS in my state for the second year in a row. It beat the crap out of me the first time I did it, about 6 months after my surgery. I'm in much better shape now so I'm interested to test my mettle once more this August!http://main.nationalmssociety.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=18853A few weeks later I am doing a mud run at a military base called Fort Dix with and for the troops. This one I am doing in teams with co workers -http://www.active.com/running/joint-base--mcguire-dix-lakehurst-nj/the-beast-of-the-east-joint-base-mcguire-dix-lakehurst-10k-mud-run-2012there are a couple others I follow and want to do as they are available in my area -http://www.spartanrace.com/ this one is supposed to be one of the most badass ones. http://mudmanx.com/http://thesurvivalrace.com/manchester-nj-5k-mudrun-2012/ Assassin: Rank: 6 (Disciple) STR: 10 DEX: 20 STA: 7 CON: 6 WIS: 6 CHA: 5[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]"Though one may conquer a thousand times a thousand men in battle, yet he indeed is the noblest victor who conquers himself." - BuddhaHeight: 5'9" Weight: 215lbs Age: 34|RW's Chronicle(log)| RW's Introduction|Fitocracy|Challenge| Link to comment
