TheOxfordComma
Just started a new job and it requires me to sit in a cubicle for 8 hours a day. It's making me antsy; I keep wanting to sprint up and down the hall but that would bother my coworkers. Any good suggestions for ways to stretch/work out muscles other than my butt within the space of my cubicle? What doesn't kill me makes me smarter. Link to comment
Laney
Does your office have a gym? Some larger places do. Otherwise you could do jumping jacks, squats, pushups... Think prison workouts! Haha, besides that get out and run on your lunch break. They also make a stationary bike type thing that you just pedal at your desk. msuroo
I do a lot of MWOD #1 in my cubicle. Not for 10 minutes at a time or anything, but it's a good way to stretch out after spending too much time in the slow death position. (Also, MWOD #15 deals specifically with too much sitting in a chair.)Also, just get up and walk around every once in a while. Getting your heart rate up is not a prerequisite for getting your muscles moving. Challenge thread Link to comment
