guest439437484421
I saw a guy in toe shoes (not sure if vibrams or something else) lay a mat under the smith machine, load it with 35's, then gets under it, lying on the floor on the mat. he then pushes the weight up and locks out his arms, and then starts twisting his hips with his feet together (hips at 90 degrees with legs sticking out, back stays on the floor). I dunno what this is called and having a hard time finding any. Anyone know exactly what this is supposed to be? esteel
Not sure about the name.. but i sounds like its basicly the same twisting motion as in the russian twist (like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCB3kxqhbuY) .. just that the upper body it fixed and the legs move while in the russian twist the legs are fixed and the upper body moves.*edit* did it look similar like this? http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/Obliques/BWLyingTwist.html Thats the only thing i found in regard to a fixed upper body.. weirdquark
Yup, sounds like floor wipers. They're part of the 300 workout. I lift heavy things. Current Challenge Between Challenges Workout Log Sassafrass: a capella folk fantasy mythology Link to comment
Relic
that looks like fun!I'm not sure the smith machine would give near the stability work but that's kinda true with most any exercise on that thing. To find piece with myselfI must first find a piece of myself Link to comment
