CokeCanNinja
I just did the first installment of C25K, and I really liked it. It's kinda hilly in my area, but that added to the fun. I really liked doing it early in the morning because now I can ride that feeling of accomplishment all day. I did it with my dad, who really enjoys running, so I'm sure to stick to it. Our short term goal is to finish the plan and run a 5k, and our long term plan is to train and run a marathon. Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! Link to comment

aidanpryde
I used C25K with success myself. Just ran my first 5k this weekend and did better than I ever thought I would. Keep it up and it will work for you too. Once you get past the 4th week, running becomes extremely easy. You may not be fast, but once you can run a mile straight, running more is a simple matter of pace. The distance comes quickly. CokeCanNinja
I did the third part of C25K on Friday, I just didn't post it here. Today I started the second week with a podcast by Podrunner, they have a great set of mixes made for the C25K plan. Here's a link: http://www.djsteveboy.com/intervals.html This week seemed a lot easier then last, but that may have been the music. Quote Nerd? We prefer the term INTELLECTUAL BADASS!!! shadowmeldfs
I love the C25K series. I am on week 4 right now. I've loved all the music so far and it has really helped keep me moving. I have a 5k planned for mid April. I should be on week 9 of it, figured that is close enough. Either way I am running it, I've already paid. Keep it up! Quote 6'1'' ~271 lbs.
