Zach-tastic
Hi there everybody. I just came across this site looking for parkour instructionals. I come from a martial arts background (kempo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and a touch of Muay Thai), but had to quit since I can no longer afford it. I was looking in to parkour since its a great and free way to burn off a lot of energy while forcing myself to get stronger. It was getting quite necessary to get on a workout routine again since I've been getting that weird blend of skinny and fat that an athletic body tends to turn to when it goes unused for a while. Nerd fitness seemed like a good fit for me since things seem to be explained the way I can understand....the nerdy way. So, yeah....hi! Link to comment
Jakob Kopfeld
Hi Zach-tastic Welcome to the Rebellion! Do you have some goals you might want to share? Or a little bit more of an introduction. Please don't get me wrong, it's awesome that you're here, but most people go a little bit longer with their introduction Level 4 Human RangerThe only Way to accomplish greatness is to set your goals even higher.STR: 15 || DEX: 9 || STA: 10CON: 12 || WIS: 9 || CHA: 6Check out my challange Thread (4) Link to comment
Zach-tastic
Fair enough. My major goal is to just gain some upper body strength. I'd say a realistic goal is 100 push-ups and 25 pull ups in six weeks. Right now I'm at 30 push-ups and....well...3 pull-ups. Seems like a perfectly attainable goal. Link to comment
