But I'm so excited about it!Since coming to uni, I joined the LARP society, which is great fun and takes up all my Sunday afternoons. So I decided to get my own weapon. I ordered a 36" sword with leaf pattern on the hilt. Anyway, it came today and I really love it! I went out to the woods with my friend who also does LARP who got a mace a couple of weeks ago and we spent about half an hour practicing fighting and it was a really good workout.In conclusion, WOOT LARP SWORD! I went out again yesterday and we practised more and I think I did slightly better. Also it transpired that the guy I was practising with had done some parkour in the past and there was a suitable railing near where we were so he was teaching me how to vault over the railing, which was awesome and which I nearly got the hang of.
