Master Blackhawke
I've always wanted to study different languages so a few weeks ago I started up on Duo Lingo. Right now I'm studying German, French, and Spanish - at least the basics. I've always secretly wanted to learn Vulcan and Klingon, however... benboyd85
It is great to learn the basics and the grammatical structure of a language to help you, but most effective way to learn a new language is by observing other people speak it. That is why you can have one parent or partner speak a language, and it is so hard to learn still. TV or movie in that language are a great tool if you are not around more than one person speaking the language. Quote Link to comment

Duolingo is working on a Klingon and Dothraki (Game of Thrones) modules. https://www.duolingo.com/course/tlh/en/Learn-Klingon-Online They're still hush-hush about the Dothraki, but here's the proof: I read somewhere the other day that DuoLingo was adding Klingon. I was rather hoping they'd add Japanese Perhaps we can get some Rebels learning / teaching Japanese to help kick off the Japanese Incubation on Duolingo? http://incubator.duolingo.com/- (Help us build languages. The Incubator is where volunteers give life to new Duolingo courses.) If any of you want to connect on Duolingo and battle for the leaderboard, I would love to connect with you: https://www.duolingo.com/Chris2Brooks 1 Quote Chris Brooks<Chris2Brooks> Level 1 (RESPAWNED) - Elf AssassinSTR 1 | DEX 1 | STA 1 | CON 1 | WIS 1 | CHA 1 Blog | Pinterest | LinkedIn | Twitter | Duolingo Link to comment

I gave up on Dothraki, because it was a pain to sort through all the material. Using duolingo will be much easier. Quote I am the Brawlus, goo goo, g'joob. Link to comment
kingw364
I have been trying to learn by myself with books, sites, music, and other resources but i'm thinking that I could benefit from a tutor or a intensive course. Quote Link to comment
