Lenloc Posted February 5, 2013 Report Share Posted February 5, 2013 I lived in Bruges, Belgium for awhile in my younger years. The city is beautiful and in my opinion worth a day trip. Aside from the sites, there is a great selection of multicultural restaurants. They have some great bars too. Also, depending on the weather...Oostende is a cool, coastal city. If it's warm, you may be able to enjoy the beach. Link to comment

They also have an annual heavy metal concert if that is your thing. Belgium is interesting, but the roads are scary, even as a passenger. The beer there is good everywhere.
