redgirl
Hey My name's Beckie, I'm 34 on Saturday I'm 5'3" and around 166lbs that's about 47lbs overweight. I was doing well last year had dropped 21lbs but then I stopped smoking ( yipeeeeeeeeeeeee ) and put all the weight back on. Bummer. I've realized also that I'm bigger than I think I am, when I look at clothes i tend to pick stuff that's about 2 sizes too small. WoopsSo I guess some help is required if anyone's up for it. I do better when I have an appointment even if it's just to nod at someone across the gym. Maybe have a daily/weekly chat to discuss food/ progress. That'd be nice, accountability and all that.I lift weights and run a little hoping to extend to something along the lines of tough mudder or half marathon, want to get strong and lean. Thanks for reading. Link to comment

redgirl
Thanks guys, after smoking for 22 years, 2/3rds of my life I am finally free. I am no longer a slave. I can no longer use this as an excuse for weight gain either as I quit 6th June 2012. Now I just have to tackle the booze! That is my weight gain right there. Link to comment
