Roman
Hi Nerd FitnessJust wanted to say hello to the community. I really dug NF from the startand liked the angle Steve took with bringing strength training to thenerd masses. I grew up ultra nerdy, was constantly glued to my computersor gadgets. I spent most of my highschool life trying to develop my ownvideos games with a programming community online, and wanted to pursuegame development after graduation. Unfortunately that was mostly theonly thing I did with my time, and I wish NF had been around then togive me the encouraging boost I needed. My original career ended up not working out.Thankfully, later in highschool I also discovered martial arts, particularly BrazilianJiuJitsu and Submission Wrestling. Fast-forward a few years (of pain andtrial-error) and I now train nearly full-time and teach other beginnersthe basics of grappling. NF was still an inspiration to me though when I discovered it, and I dug the concept of “leveling up†in fitness, whichI still hold close today. (Having grown up sinking countless hours into RPGs)Anyway, I wanted to say hello and read some posts on here, and also show youguys my own blog centered around training in martial arts and personaldevelopment to get some feedback. Thanks a lot! Part-Time Jitsu Link to comment
