lean-n-clean Posted March 1, 2013 Report Share Posted March 1, 2013 I've been lurking around NF and the forums for a while, but never posted until the other day when I decided to join the 6 week challange. Figured I'd stop by here as well and introduce myself. I'm 41 years old and have been sitting at a desk for far too long.... Slowly went from around 175 to 227 pounds over the last 17 years of marriage. I finally saw a picture that was a side profile of me at the beach last summer and it looked like something the National Enquirer might post under the headline "MAN IS 9-MONTHS PREGANT". So I began crossfit last August and with 7 months of crossfit and 2 or 3 months of eating paleo I am now down to 192 and a good bit stronger. The day I started I remember being embarassed because I couldn't do ONE FREAKIN' PULLUP. Still have a ways to go, but I can crank out 6 now so progress is being made. Hope to keep learning from you all now that I am out of the shadows. Link to comment
