So, after a year of lifting weights...

Roughly around this time last year I started lifting weights properly, starting with the StrongLifts program.

 

In this time I've managed to gain about a stone in muscle, a lot more definition and generally feel a lot more badass.

 

Deadlifted 180kg this lunchtime- triple what I could manage last year! (Bodyweight is around 66kg)

 

Squatting 110kg as a max at the moment too.

 

Just need to get my bench press less awful!

 

So if anyone is thinking of starting a program, stick with it, and you will get there!

(I've also had a pretty awesome year, I don't think this is a coincidence. Met a lovely girl, my band is excellent and I've got a good bunch of friends. :) )
