The Mouse
Hey, rebels!Okay, so I need a bit of advice/checking. I tend to really over do it and force myself into injury, so I need your honest opinion. Especially since I'm wondering if I can still swing this for my challenge to get all As. I did my lifting yesterday, and a make up run. Today, I did karate for 2 hrs and slipping on the floor caused some ankle and foot strain in my bad right ankle. My tendons feel tight, but I still have a run slated for today. I'm wondering if I should pursue it or replace it in my log with my intense karate class. It's also 9PM right now and my parents are forcing dinner on me. Which means any run would take place at 10ish, pushing sleep back for about .5-1 hours. Is it too much? Should I just run and lift tomorrow? Or should I report my karate in place of my run for my challenge? The Mouse
Thanks for the tips, Elastigirl. Took 'em and I feel like I made the right choice. I'll run tomorrow with my workout and make sure to stretch well. JakeJoh10
Definitely recover fully. A day or two off is better than injuring yourself and being limited for weeks. Jake My personal health and fitness blog: http://JJStrength.com Link to comment
