I started this blog about a little less than a year ago when I started working out. I haven't posted in a little while, but hopefully sometime this week.

Safe for work.

Well done. I dig fitness blogs with heart and that's what you got right here.

I am happy to have a few more blogs to follow and to help inspire me.

2. I feel bad for posting here about this but it is sort of a blog. It's... a gaming web comic (I know, another one right?). My brother and I work on it together. My brother writes it, while I provide the artwork. With every new comic strip, we also throw down a blog entry beneath it that begins by relating to the strip, then we might talk about other stuff. When it comes to the content of the blog, it's usually video game related. I also occasionally put down some of my own artwork there too that's unrelated to the webcomic. Sometimes I talk about stuff relating to how the comic is made - process behind it, equipment and software used etc. I plan on making instructional videos in the future too.

3. Other than some coarse language and occasional cartoon violence, yes it's safe for work.

4. At the moment I don't really follow any other blogs, but I do follow other web comics and read them regularly - the comics, blogs and additional content the website may provide. I'm a big fan of Penny Arcade (where my biggest inspiration and influence comes from) and I'm now a fan of other web comics such as Phuzzy Comics, Junior Scientist Power Hour and Cyanide and Happiness. I used to be a fan of VGcats and Ctrl+Alt+Del, but (no offense to those who are fans) I don't like them anymore. VGcats never updates (seriously it's been two months since a last update) and Ctrl+Alt+Del in my opinion took itself way too seriously with its plots and storylines. I'm also not very fond of the artwork for CAD.

2. It's my personal blog so that I have a place to send hiring managers who want to see my work. Mostly my visual journalism stuff, written journalism, and occasionally some personal musings.

3. Definitely safe for work, considering I am seeking work with it.

This is really cool. I'm going to be studying journalism pretty extensively this coming academic year, so I got excited to find out someone else on Nerd Fitness is in journalism too.

Thanks for the support. I have a goal starting next week to have at least 8 posts a month, averaging 2 per week, so there should be plenty of content to look for in the coming weeks and months. Btw, I think it's awesome that you're growing your own food in the backyard. There's nothing tastier than home grown veggies. Hopefully I can do that someday too.

Nice one. Hows journalism going? I am about halfway through a course in magazine journalism, I'm really enjoying it.

Well... You are a busy guy it looks like!

I love the book reviews. I was thinking about adding some to my site as well and I always like checking out good Paleo sites where i can get some recipes...

Just started today with my first two posts, heh. Thought a digital place to let my thoughts loose might be better than a sheet of paper I'll lose.

1. http://revolutionarynomads.wordpress.com/

2. Personal blog, lots of thoughts. Will most likely mainly contain walls of text about 'positive progress', social, philosophical and psychological issues. (Warning: Not for 'get realistic', 'no nonsense' people)

3. Should be safe.

Following your Paleo blog now :) Can't get the same food products here, but hey it's all interesting!

2: The spouse and I decided to start a blog that follows our new Primal habits, always bearing in mind that we aren't perfect and that we're cool with that. He drinks beer, I eat the odd eclair (the powers of Aux Petits Delices are strong), and life goes on. We literally just started this bad boy, we've got maybe two posts.

3: Safe for work, but will probably feature some swearing occasionally.

I have other blogs on Tumblr as well, but they're mostly reblogs.

Awesome! I just wrapped up my degree in magazine journalism with an emphasis in photojournalism. Let me know if you have any questions.

It's great! Really looking forward to my first job in the field... which hasn't materialized at the moment, but I remain hopeful.

Cheers :) Yeah true about the product thing but we can't get a lot of stuff here in NZ either. I like your blog too, keep up the good work :)

But you live in NZ! You have volcanoes, awesome stone heads, buckloads of 'cheap' lamb from what I hear, incredibly versatile activities and gorgeous beaches. And Maori warrior dances and an awesome Rugby team! Ahem. [fanboyism end/]

Also, followed most wordpress blogs here - definitely some interesting content.

Hah, guess I picked my goals right when thought I'd be visiting OZ/NZ sooner or later!

Thank you! I hope to keep things interesting with cross-referencing and examining topics like society (conventions, rights issues), philosophy/religion (kant, institutions vs. ideals/people, bhuddism), nature (where does it start/end? culture?) and psychology (neuropsychology, confirmation bias ect.) and how they refer to each other, align and such things - probably also getting back at what my introductory topic. (pretty important to me)

Heh, I thought it was fitting and 'catchy' - plus it fits me and my thought process pretty well and one thing that has been a driving motivation for me for years. (the "longing" to explore things beyond the borders of 'my country')
