andygates
I've been wanting a four-plate - 180kg, 400lb approx - since forever. Yesterday's Spring Strength Showdown gave me the chance to go for it, and after equalling my previous PB, I did! It was bonkers, with all the psych-up shenanigans I could muster before getting under the bar. My face turned red as the sunset on Massacre World. There was a *schwingg* from the Crikey Meter and I unlocked my limit break power: Roaring Tengu: Bugged out eyes, screwed up face, electric beard. Up went the bar to a HRAAAARGH straight out of an Arnie soundboard. Up went the bar. Wibbidy-wobbidy went the plates, bouncing like summer flowers. Happy dance. Link to comment

SuperUnison
Awesome work my man! There's something nice about seeing 4 plates either side of the bar too.Sounds like the psyching up really worked too, you definitely have to be in the right headspace to deadlift a new PR! Link to comment
