Duck Dropping
Morning everyone! Before I went lurking around all the different forum topics searching for obscure references to knee problems I was wondering if there was a general thread on training around health issues. Personally, I have a reconstructed ACL in my left leg and another that is still torn in my right. Should I just include this in my posts when I seek advice in specific training regimes? Thanks in advance! Quote Level 1 Warforged: Neophyte of the Empty Hand “The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.†Link to comment
Gainsdalf the Whey
No one here is certified or experienced enough to give you advice on training around injuries. See a doctor or sports PT. Also, Mark Rippetoe's boards are useful if you want good advice on training around injuries using barbell movements. Be sure to search for an existing thread on your topic before psoting or they'll just lock it if you do chose to go that way. grizeen
I have had 5 ortho surgeries (2 ACLs in one knee) and I tend to tell people so they know not all of my struggles are from effort, but like what is said above; a doctor or someone certified is the best bet for working through injuries. I do firmly believe your body will talk to you if you listen though Quote Link to comment
